Clavamax
Kosmo's home from the vet, and is feeling better, but he's gonna be on Clavamax for the next week or so while the infection clears up. Luckily he doesnt appear to be clogged up with crystals n such, but the doctors want to do more tests and try to figure out why he keeps getting this. :(
More to come.....

Hi I have had problems with my Jack Russell when I try to give her pills so the other day I put some peanut butter on the end of my finger with her pill in it she started licking the peanut butter once the pill got in her mouth it went right down with the aid of the sticky peanut butter slick as a ribbon. Hope this helps someone I alway kinda got flustrated how my little dog would seperate her medicine from whatever I hid it in till now.

My Kasper kat is purely indoors and not de-clawed. He's 13 yrs. old and one of his claws grew funny and is hurting his paw. The Dr. removed it and put him on liquid clavamax. How on earth do I get him to take it? Just force feed it to him? He is already so Pissed at me for what I have put him through he won't even come around me. Does this really help?
I have a cairn terrier and 2 rotties. Whenever they are prescribed any type of pill, I simply cut up a raw hot dog into small pieces (large enough to adequately cover a pill) and give them a piece without the pill, then another and at some point I sub the hot dog with the pill. My eldest rottie sometimes figures out what I am doing so I try not to show them I am putting a pill in the hot dog and simply call it a treat. However, if they ever spit the pill out, I just put it in another hot dog piece. try that, it may ease giving pills. If your dog does not eat meat, I have also used deli slices of tofurky and it works just as well.
